Green Beans and Bacon

Ingredients:
- 2.5 pounds of green beans, trimmed- Salt (to taste)
- 1/2 pounds of bacon, roughly chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Freshly ground pepper
Directions:
1 - Boil the green beans in a pot of salted water for ~5-7 minutes or until slightly tender. Essentially you want them to be partially cooked. Drain the beans once they're done cooking.2 - Cook the bacon in a large saute pan until well done. Remove the bacon from the pan and spoon off any extra grease you don't want to keep.
3 - Add onion and garlic in pan and saute until the onion is translucent (~5 minutes).
4 - Add the green beans, dry spices, bacon, and pecans. Saute until the beans have finished cooking.
